The Joan Dykstra PTA Scholarship award was established in 1997 to honor Joan Dykstra, Past President of the Wisconsin PTA and National PTA.  It reflects Joan's belief that every member of a local PTA unit needs the experience that a PTA convention or conference can give.

The scholarship will fund the attendance of the recipient to the annual Wisconsin PTA Convention. It is hoped that the recipient would use the experience of attending this event to further their PTA growth as well as benefit their local unit. Special consideration will be given to those who are new to PTA or who have never attended the convention. 

The deadline for this award is January 14th.
